In 1992, Canadian Artist Shelley McVittie ventured into fine art painting, and has since found her work gaining tremendous acceptance. Featured in many galleries across Canada, her editions are selling out in a very short period of time.
She is also the very first artist Jo Gatenby ever worked with, converting Shelley's delightful artwork into wonderful needlework, for the enjoyment of both their fans!
Telling a story with brushes and acrylics that is quite unique, Shelley creates images seen in everyday life, rendering them bright, inviting and delightful. Her remembrances of even the tiniest details of the brighter side of life magically draw viewers into her paintings time and time again.
