& Oh's and A NEEDLE PULLING THREAD needlework
magazine are sponsoring a designing contest -
join us in supporting literacy - and stitching!
Because of some
great stitcher feedback,
we've decided to EXTEND the deadline -
SO YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO ENTER!!
Here's
how it works:
- Simply design, stitch, and finish a bookmark (following the
Design Guidelines set out below), and send it to X's & Oh's.
(Be sure to include a completed form for each submission)

Up to 6 submitted bookmark designs will be selected to be
included in a specially
published leaflet, and a percentage
of the proceeds will go to a literacy
program.
- A NEEDLE
PULLING THREAD needlework magazine will
display the winning entries in the
September issue
... and the winners will each receive a ONE YEAR
subscription
to the magazine!

The winning designers will also
each receive a $50.00 gift
certificate from X's & Oh's, PLUS a copy of
the published leaflet.

But there's more! The first 100 non-winning entrants will receive a
copy
of A NEEDLE PULLING THREAD needlework magazine,
in which the winners are announced.

Best of all, the literacy challenge wins too, as all bookmarks
submitted
will be donated to a library, school or literacy program.
It's
that easy… so get your graph paper out, and start designing
- but please
read the CONTEST and DESIGN GUIDELINES first, as any submissions not meeting the
requirements may be disqualified.
